The process starts with an initial meeting to sketch out your requirements. I will then provide a website mock-up to give a flavour of what the site will look like. Once you are happy with the layout and design, the website will be built with periodic updates to check you are happy with the process.
Your website will be built using WordPress which enables you to update the content yourself. WordPress is very easy to use, but basic training can be given if required. WordPress is extensible through thousands of plugins which can be used to extend your site – from a simple booking calendar right up to a complete e-commerce solution. For simple one page sites, you can opt to have a static website which will greatly reduce the cost, but you lose the option of editing the content yourself.
For your first year you will get free hosting for your website which no obligation to continue after the first year. Subsequent years will be charged at a rate based on the size of your site, but prices will be comparable to other hosting services.
Website Hosting
Most cheap hosting packages force you to share a web server with sometimes thousands of other sites which can affect the speed and responsiveness of your site. I will host your site on a business class dedicated web server with the option for using your own IP address for added security. The server is hosted in a UK data centre directly on a the internet backbone. Your site will be secured with a free SSL certificate so your visitors know they can trust your site.
As an additional service, I can look after your WordPress installation for you – applying security updates for you as they become available.
IT Support
Do you have ongoing IT support needs, but have no one to turn to for advice or help? I provide IT support at reasonable rates on a pay-as-you-go basis. There are no minimum charges, so if an issue takes twelve minutes to resolve you will only be billed for twelve minutes.
Using remote support software I can instantly access your PC or server to resolve issues without incurring travel costs.

I provide a range of graphic design services – ranging from simple logo design to full brochure layout. I can liaise with the printer of your choice, or provide a full design and print service. Charges are usually charged on a time-spent basis.
